Health and wellness is a partnership, and choosing a chiropractor for you and your family is an important decision. Allow me to tell you more about myself to help you better determine if we will be a good fit!
I always knew that I wanted to be a chiropractor. I received my first chiropractic adjustment when I was seven years old due to chronic strep throat infections. My mom was desperate to try something besides antibiotics, so we tried chiropractic, and I have been a chiropractic patient ever since! After receiving regular chiropractic care, I no longer had infections and felt better than ever before. Chiropractic improved my life so greatly, and that's when I decided I wanted to provide that same amazing feeling for as many individuals and families as possible!
I was born and raised in San Diego, and I always knew that I wanted to serve the community in which I grew up and love so dearly. I first completed my undergraduate studies at Southwestern College prior to earning my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life Chiropractic College West. As a chiropractic intern, I was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award at Life Chiropractic College West.
I LOVE to adjust the whole family and specialize in adjusting kids and pregnant women! In addition to my chiropractic training, I also completed extensive training with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA, Inc) to advance my education, training and knowledge of practice-based research in the realm of chiropractic care for children and in pregnancy. I am Webster certified, and am now a candidate to become Board Certified in Chiropractic Pediatrics.
Most importantly, I am the proud mother of two beautiful boys. Family is extremely important to me. My number one job is to be the best mom I can be to my kids! I love to play outside and go to the beach with my boys. I truly believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and my office exudes that feeling. My goal is to help the individuals, families, and children of our community to live healthier, happier more fulfilling lives.
Now, that you know a bit about me, I can't wait to learn more about YOU!

Your questions answered...
Do you adjust kids the same way you adjust adults?
Adjusting babies and kids is much different than adjusting adults. I use no more force to adjust a child than you would to check a ripe tomato. Babies and kids LOVE to get adjusted!
Do I have to get adjusted for the rest of my life?
I can't force you to do anything you don't want to do. Most patients tell me that their life is so much better with chiropractic care, and they don't want to stop coming! Once you're well-adjusted and live life to your fullest potential, you usually won't want to go back.
Do adjustments hurt?
NO. Chiropractic care is a non-invasive, holistic approach to health care. The adjustments are quick and pain free. Some patients experience some soreness after their first adjustment, similar to when you start an exercise routine and you are sore after the first couple of workouts.
